What is the average amount of pay for a Graduate HR intern?

I was just curious as to how much HR interns, who are graduate students, typically make.

   When I interned it did not pay anything.

   I’ve seen anywhere from $3000-$5000/mth. It all depends on industry, company, geographic location etc. Some companies pay all HR interns the same and others use a formula based on previous internships, GPA, extra curricular activities etc. Things like these are unique to an individual and can distinguish from someone getting paid more than you when they have a lower GPA and no other internship or experience.    $44,000 before this recent downturn in the economy. I imagine it will drop under $40,000 in 2009..
