I just had an interview. I was called back for a second interview and they want me to bring in names and numbers of two professional references. I have three former supervisors who I know will give me a good reference, however, I haven’t kept in touch two of them. The one that I do speak to occassionally, I am having a hard time getting in touch with her. Can I use the Human Resource Department of a couple of my former jobs as a reference?

Over five years ago, I worked for a large company that required full background checks. The HR mgr gave me a copy of my background report. She advised me to investigate if I was a victim of ID theft because the credit history part of my report listed someone’s name who had used my SS#. This individual lived in a state I’d never lived in before.
When I ordered all three of my credit reports, not one of them showed this individual on my credit file. Everything else was accurate except for the person not being listed.
The company I worked for has been out of business for years. The screening company they used provided me with the most detailed information than any of the 3 credit bureaus comprehensive reports. I want to see if I can order my own background check.
Which companies are Human Resource managers using for full screenings?

If i sent a resignation letter to my human resource manager stating I was leaving the company & the reason i was leaving is because i asked for a raise & my boss told me the company would have to give him a raise first before i could get one & that i was leaving because i felt i would never make the money i wanted to make & alos requested in my letter that i wish the content of my letter not be showed to my boss & the HR Manager shows my boss anyway…not only did the HR Manager show her my resignation letter but the two of them have been sending emails back & forth to each other calling me names & degrading me badly….My Manager went as far as to send emails back & forth to someone outside the company doing the same thing…I have copies of all the emails…Can I sue them?
